WICKED NIGHTS (musica 1984 / testo 1985)
(Roberto Fuiano)
While the peasants sleep in their homes,
not so far in the thick of the wood,
strange figures move
around a sacred flame
whispering in silence a secret rhyme:
“Parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme,
round and round jumping around the tine”.
Here the necromancer comes
From the Kurgan dales.
Sadly the bell tolls in the night.
Cold blows the wind tonight my friend,
stay by me, hold tight my hand,
out from here the shadows run,
pain is stronger than death.
In the sky the Wild Hunt begins.
Notti stregate
Mentre i contadini dormono nelle loro dimore,
non molto lontano, nel folto del bosco,
strane figure si muovono
intorno ad una fiamma sacra
sussurrando in silenzio una rima segreta:
“Prezzemolo, salvia, rosmarino e timo,
